This joint venture will enable all these marine specialists to put their skills to work in the manufacture of larger dimension carbon masts. The “boom” in cargo-carrying ships and cruise vessels using wind propulsion justifies this positioning. The construction of a plant dedicated to the manufacture of these big masts is planned at Lanester (in Morbihan, western France), as close as possible to existing composite expertise. Production of the first masts on an industrial scale is scheduled for late 2024.
