6 Multihulls in the second edition
Over the weekend of May 13 and 14, the second edition of the Multihull Rally & Race was held out of Port Ginesta, just outside Barcelona. The event is currently the only one in Spain open to all types of cruising catamarans and trimarans.

This mix of racing, rally and friendliness gave the opportunity for the 6 registered competitors to battle it out over a measured mile, followed the next day by an 18-mile coastal race. The objective for the organizers is certainly to continue their efforts - firstly by proposing a third, even more dynamic edition, and secondly to pursue the action led by the Multihull Friendly Marinas, a group of ports specially adapted to be able to accommodate catamarans and trimarans founded by Port Ginesta, Sant Carles Marina and Club Nàutic Estartit, to which Port Adriano and Port Masnou have also recently been added.
