Reopening of the Musée national de la Marine this October
At a time when tourism in Paris is experiencing a fun comeback with the well-known Netflix series Emily in Paris (58 million viewers in May 2021 for the first season!), the upcoming reopening of one of the most beautiful maritime museums, located right in front of the Eiffel Tower, is worth mentioning.

Closed since 2017, the Musée national de la Marine will be reopening its doors mid-October 2023, at the Place du Trocadero in Paris. Entirely redesigned and renovated like its neighbor, the Musée de l'Homme (located in the other wing of the building), its objective is to highlight the maritime issues of yesterday, today and tomorrow - environmental issues are not left out - thanks to an interesting tour and cultural project. 900 pieces, all carefully restored, will be on display. The works, costing €70 million, are currently the largest museum renovation project in France.
