Sam fell into salt water and the world of sailing at a very young age - he was only a few months old when his parents took him and his big sister on board the family sailboat for a first seven-year journey...
A specialist in offshore racing, Sam has sailed on various craft which have taken him from the Mini 650 to the Ultims, both solo and with a crew.
His motto? “Better never stop”.
As the skipper of Leyton since 2019, he sails aboard a particularly efficient Ocean Fifty that will be on the startline of the next Route du Rhum.
