One year on, the general situation has improved, and the first boat shows were able to be held in the United States and in Europe. Unfortunately, on the other side of the world, an upsurge in the number of Covid cases combined with a 15-day lockdown of the city of Sydney – that may be extended – has meant that the Sydney Festival of Boating, originally scheduled for July 29th to August 1st, has been cancelled.
