"There are no steps or ladders throughout the deck and each door is more than a meter wide (just over 3 feet). One meter is considered the optimal radius for turning a wheelchair. I’ve provided a hydraulic swim platform at the stern, a boarding door in the cockpit and an accessible bathroom.” The solar panels, wind generators, and a diesel generator are run in a hybrid configuration. A CFD analysis confirmed that this hull will be capable of reaching 12 knots with twin 100 kW pods produced by Dutch company Advanced Electromagnetics (AE-Group). The Li-ion batteries are fitted in the narrow hulls, which are foam-filled to ensure unsinkability.
