There’s something new in 50-foot trimarans: the Multi50 class is becoming the Ocean Fifty class and, specifically, is launching the Pro Sailing Tour.

For this class that’s been active for 15 years, this will be a professional circuit of dedicated races. The format of these events, being organized from May through August on France’s Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts, and in Spain (Gran Canaria), is set to be spectacular. The intention is to get the general public to experience the racing in total immersion, thanks to original locations in the heart of the cities and to the implementation of new audiovisual systems giving cinema quality. Upswing Prod, a company specialized in event and audiovisual production, is offering an immersive documentary series following the lives of the crew.
