First launch
New catamaran builder Windelo, based at Canet-en-Roussillon, in the south of France, has been working with the Barreau/Neuman team to develop a complete range from 47 to 57 feet.

For now, one model has splashed, a Windelo 50. The yard announces an ecological approach by using basalt fiber and PET foam (from recycling). But what’s original about the Windelo? The helm station and sail trimming are integrated into the nacelle. The saloon will open onto the cockpit thanks to an up-and-over door. Each model will be available in three versions - Sport, Adventure and Yachting. The yard is also designing an electric-engine version.
