My last boat show?
If I look back in my diary, it was on February 15th that I arrived in Miami. Just before that, I was covering the Caribbean Multihull Challenge in Saint Martin.

At that time, the burgeoning epidemic was already being closely watched, both in China and Italy. If someone coughed loudly, we were uneasy... But from there to imagining that this Miami Boat Show would be the last major nautical event before April 2021 (we all hope the date won't be any further away than that), there is a whole world - that no one would have imagined except a science-fiction writer. Forced, coerced, we have all moved into virtual mode. Our annual mileage counters have suddenly seized up, giving way to webinars. But nothing can replace real multihulls, and especially you, our readers! I’m looking forward to seeing you again, in Miami and elsewhere!
