Actual Leader double whammy
Yves Le Blevec's sponsors officially signed the acquisition of the former Macif trimaran on December 10th in Lorient (France). At the same time, he announced that he had sold his previous boat (ex-Sodebo Ultim 2) to a new skipper, whose name is yet to be revealed.

This is therefore doubly good news for the Ultim Class, as both multihulls will be remaining within the class. The program may incorporate the Transat Jacques Vabre in 2021, the Route du Rhum in 2022 and then a solo round-the-world record attempt in 2023.
Things are looking remarkably busy for the Ultim class next year: we’re waiting for Armel Le Cleac'h's Banque Populaire XI to be launched and we also hope for good news from François Gabart. The skipper is continuing the construction of his Ultim M101 trimaran, but without a title sponsor at this stage since the withdrawal of Macif.
