Beyond their concrete actions - 1,000 passengers transported in electric mode aboard prototype catamarans, 13,500 pieces of plastic collected - LBV and Norbert Sedlacek have designed a 35-foot open catamaran made from 100% recyclable materials and propelled (if necessary) by electric motors. This new model, simple, light and fun at the same time, is set to be the first mass-produced recyclable sailboat. This is a huge step forward at a time when Europe and the United States have nearly 20 million non-recyclable boats... Launch is scheduled for this year.
