A saildrive for engines from 80 to 150 HP
Until now, saildrive installations have been limited to engines up to 80 HP. Motor manufacturer Yanmar responded to a request from many boatbuilders wanting to offer this setup with more powerful engines. The SD15 solution is therefore aimed at multihulls from 50 to 65 feet - it has already been tested on board a Sunreef 50.

The SD15 saildrive, manufactured by ZF, can be coupled to the Yanmar 4JH80, 4JH110 and 4LV150 common-rail engines. Compact, easy and safe to install with no specific alignment required, the SD15 ensures reduced vibration and noise, low drag, better propulsion efficiency and lower fuel consumption. Thanks to its lightweight aluminum housing, the saildrive SD15 is durable and reliable to ensure longer service intervals.
