Have you heard of DynaRig? This is the modern version of the square-rig of times past... except that you no longer have to climb the rig and go out along the yards to set the sails: everything is electric and automated! Seen on some of the largest superyachts, the DynaRig now benefits from the expertise and commercial network of Southern Spars. This New Zealand-based company, a specialist in carbon rigs, has in fact just joined forces with Magna Structures, the originator of the concept.
