A Catamaran in my Living Room
From 2013 to 2018, the Ja family enjoyed a wonderful time: turquoise waters, trade winds and coconut palms on board a Bahia 46. It was a voyage which we talked about several times in Multihulls World. We’re catching up with them in April… self-isolating in their house in the Landes region of south west France. Despite everything, they are keeping their spirits up!

“In these difficult times, we have to get by as best as we can. I have sent a few photos of the catamaran that our son Elian has built. You never know, it might get a small article in Multihulls World, just like Cataja in the good old days. The color is missing, but there’s the same speaker that we had on Bahia’s mast during our five years on board. The same goes for the dinghy and the helm… everything’s there including us five on deck! We’ve been landlubbers for the last two years, but we’re looking out for an opportunity to set sail again… See you soon on a stand at a boat show!
