For years, the show was spread out over several sites, separating sail and motor. But for the past three years, the show has focused one single site - the Marine Stadium Park & Basin. A shuttle service (buses and boats) facilitates access from downtown Miami. 100,000 visitors are welcomed at the Miami International Boat Show every year. 3,000 boats are exhibited, 550 of which are afloat, 2,000 professionals are expected. Among them, many multihull builders. Nearly 50 units, both sailing and motor, will be on display on docks 7, 8 and 9.
Aquila Power Catamarans
Three power catamarans will be on display: the Aquila 32, the 36 and the 44. Balance Catamarans
The South African yard will be featuring their Balance 526. In preparation, are the 482, of which six examples have already been sold, and the 442.
Bali Catamarans
No new models from Bali at the 2020 show, but they’ll still have two sailing catamarans on display, the smallest and the largest in the range - the 4.1 and the 5.4. As for power cats, the 4.3 MY will be on show.
Catana
The yard, based at Canet-en-Rousillon in the South of France, will be presenting their Catana 53.
Excess Catamarans
This new manufacturer will be presenting not only the Excess 12 and 15, first seen back in September at Cannes, but also the latest model, the 11, unveiled at boot Düsseldorf.
Fountaine Pajot
Fountaine Pajot will be exhibiting four sailing models: the Astrea 42, the Elba 45, the Saona 47 and the Alegria 67. As for power versions, the MY40 and the MY44 are expected. For the New 59, we’re going to have to wait until the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Lagoon
No new sailing models at the show for the world leader, who will be highlighting the Lagoon 40, 42, 46, 52F and SEVENTY 7. On the other hand, this will be the US premiere for the SIXTY 7 power catamaran, a sailing version of which will be revealed soon.
Leopard Catamarans
The yard is clearly betting on the American market since all their models will be on display at Miami. Sailors will be able to visit the 40, 45, 50 and 58. And for power cat fans, the 43 PCs and 53 PCs (a world premiere) will be on display. Note: these two latter models will also be at the Miami Yacht Show, which is held on the same dates, but downtown.
Kinetic Catamarans
The KC62, discovered back in October at Annapolis, will obviously be on show at Miami - waiting for the release of her “little” sister, the KC54.
Nautitech Catamarans
The builder will be exhibiting their three most recent models, namely the 40 Open, the New 46 Open and the 47 Power - the power cat evolution of the 46.
