For 10 years now, this show, which began in Lorient in Brittany, has been the most important
event for multihulls in the nautical calendar. First of all because it is unique: with more than
60 catamarans and trimarans expected again this year, this show is the only opportunity in the
world to discover both new products (about ten making their world or European premiere)
and most of the ranges of the major multihull manufacturers. Not for nothing that it will be at
La Grande Motte that the results of the Multihull of the Year will be revealed...
This show has remained on a human scale: simple access thanks to a footbridge that connects
the eastern part of the port and large parking area for professionals, availability of
boatbuilders and always a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
At the beginning, the idea of the organizers of the International Multihull Show was to
alternate the French Atlantic coast - this is where the two most important manufacturers in the
world, Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot, are located - and the Mediterranean coast. In the end, the
South of France won the race. It is therefore at La Grande Motte, only about ten kilometers (6
miles) from Montpellier International Airport, that it’s all happening.
And it will most likely be under the Mediterranean sun (the 2019 edition will be held very late
in April!) that we will meet again - 15,000 visitors are expected. Because Multihulls World
will obviously have our own stand, where we are waiting for you to share our sailing, our
experiences and of course to discover the multihulls on display.
