<p>During our test, we really liked the EOS 54, a fast, very well-designed ocean cruising catamaran. Here comes its little sister, the EOS 47, designed by Marc Lombard, which is currently under construction at the builder Herve, in La Rochelle, France. We find once again, of course, its predecessor’s DNA (build quality, nautical qualities, lightness, speed, handling, liveability, comfort) with the aim of shorthanded long-term cruising, as a family or with friends. The advantage of this concept is that the boat is being offered on a semi-custom basis, with saloon and cockpit on the same level, a large lounge, a U-shaped galley and an L-shaped chart table, with from 2 to 4 double cabins…</p>
<p>The launch is planned during 2019, and the basic price is advertised as 729,000 euros, exc. tax.</p>
