<p>The Multihull Cup is an event only open to fast multihulls of over 50 feet. The idea of this competition in the Mediterranean is to offer owners of prestigious boats a prize worthy of them. In fact numerous regattas exist in the Caribbean, but almost none in the Mediterranean area… This second edition of the Multihull Cup was held once again in Majorca, where five maxi multihulls had a tremendous time, to find out who was the fastest… An Irens design, three Morelli & Melvins, a Banuls Design for an 84-foot cat (Green Marine), two 66’s (a Gunboat and a McConaghy), a 66’ (HH) and a 68’ (Jaz Marine / Gunboat), and at the finish, it was once again the Allegra 84’ which won, ahead of R-Six (HH 67’) and Dragon (McConaghy 66) after three days of racing in light weather.</p>
