Cannes Yachting Festival (France)

A perfect setting (the town of Cannes), international builders, who every year exhibit more and more new boats at the Yachting Festival, and keen visitors coming from all over the world. This is the chemistry which makes the Cannes Yachting Festival one of the most important boat shows in the world for seeing multihulls. And once again this year, we should reach or even exceed the fifty or so cruising catamarans and trimarans presented to the public. From 10 to 25 m, sail or motor, there is something for all tastes and (almost) all budgets!

In addition to the new boats already presented in the previous pages (the brand-new Lagoon, the Fountaine Pajot New 67 and Astrea 42, the Outremer 51, the Leopard 50, the Ita 14.99, the Dufour 48, the Bali 4.0 DC and 5.4, the McConaghy 60, the Icecat 61, the Aventura 34, the Sunreef 40 Open Power, and sailing 60 and 80,the Euphorie 5, the Nautitech 47 Power, the Silent 55…) You will in addition be able to see the whole of the Bali range (4, 4.3 and 4.5), the Catana 53, the Lagoon 40, 42, 50, 43PC and 51PC), the Neel 51, the Outremer 5X, the Privilege Serie 5 in an Owner’s Suite version, the Carettacat from Solarwind, the Aventura 10 Power and the Sunreef 74 and Supreme 68…

Annapolis Boat Show

Annapolis is one of the major meetings for multihull enthusiasts all over the world, and once again this year, the number of multihulls present on the east coast of the USA at the beginning of October should be impressive. Even though it is a bit early in the season to have an exact list, we know that you will be able to admire the Balance Catamarans range, the Aquila 44 and 36, the Lagoon 40, 42, 50 and 380, the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, Astrea 42, Saona 47 and Saba 50, the Bavaria Catamarans Nautitech Open 40 and 46 Fly, the HH 55 and 66, the Leopard 40, Sunsail 404 (Leopard 40), Moorings 4500 (Leopard 45) and Leopard 50, the Maverick 440, the Neel 51, the Outremer 45 and 5X, and many other catamarans whose list will continue to increase between now and October.

Barcelona, La Rochelle, Genoa, Southampton…

Year after year, Barcelona is becoming the other major autumn event for cruising catamarans and trimarans, along with the Cannes show. This year, the show should be presenting around thirty boats, including the Lagoon 40, 42, 50, 630 MY and the famous surprise boat. Fountaine Pajot will be presenting the Lucia 40, Astrea 42 and MY 37, Outremer the 45 and new 51, Leopard the 50 and 43PC, Bali the 4.1, 4.3, 4.5 and 5.4.

But the Mediterranean is not the only place to see cruising multihulls, and this year once again, La Rochelle's Grand Pavois should be presenting around twenty trimarans and catamarans. You won’t therefore miss, amongst others, the Astus 16.5 and 24, the Aventura 34 and 10 Power, the Bali 4.1 and 4.3, the Fountaine Pajots, the Lagoon 40 and 42, the boats exhibited by Marsaudon Composites, etc…

And if you like catamarans and trimarans, don’t hesitate to visit the shows at Genoa (Italy), Newport (USA) or Southampton (UK), not to mention Sydney (Australia) or Cape Town (South Africa). Second-hand boats also have a show

The boat shows are traditionally reserved for new boats. But there is an atypical, (but just as nice) show which deals exclusively with second-hand cruising multihulls! Organized at Canet-en-Roussillon, in the south of France at the end of October, it will allow you to choose, from amongst the thirty or so second-hand multihulls presented, the boat of your dreams, with which you will be able to set off immediately!
