<p>Once again this year, the ARC was full, with 186 boats at the start of the 32nd edition of the most famous of the rallies. From Las Palmas in the Canaries to St. Lucia, the crews, (whose youngest member was 3 years old, the oldest 80), had a tremendous time, but had to compromise with the weather, which wasn't really favorable. The first boat to cross the line at St. Lucia was a catamaran, the TS 42 Guyader. It took a little more than 14 days to cover the 2,900-odd miles of the crossing. On corrected time, Guyader remains the indisputable winner, ahead of the Lavezzi 40 Think Twice, and the Outremer 64 Light Saudade. The top 5 was completed by two Catanas – the 42 Kallima and the 62 Gust of Wind.</p>
