The hulls are in aluminum and the superstructure in composites, which results in a weight of 60 tonnes, quite reasonable for an 85-foot catamaran. The interiors – superb, especially the panoramic owner’s cabin situated at the front of the nacelle – are by Darnet Design. The Long Island 85 is now going into the dynamic test phase, before the editorial team from Multihulls World can go and test it…
