NEW-Lagoon SEVENTY 8

The Seventy 8 is the motor version of the very successful Seventy 7, which came out last year. The aft third of the underwater lines has been revised to house the standard propulsion of twice 480 hp, and the forward trampolines have been replaced by a rigid, teak-covered platform, taking the useable area outside to over 150m². The services are just as luxurious as aboard its older sister, and the various accommodation and decoration possibilities provided in the catalogue make this a genuine custom yacht. Four have already been ordered and the new workshop dedicated to these two models will allow production of 10 boats per year.

It has become the Série 7, with a complete revamp, and new interiors designed by Franck Darnet. Already positioned at the luxury end of the scale when the company was created in 1985, with the famous cabin in the central pod, the builder here confirms its ability to produce custom finished accommodation. A hammam has even been fitted in one of these catamarans. The Serie 7's advantages when used well for charter no longer need proving. Galaxy 53 m

This trimaran is built in glass/epoxy/core cell/carbon, in accordance with the ‘Sprint’ process. Result: the unladen displacement is finally lower than the initially calculated weight estimation of 195 t. Great flexibility in use is provided by double propulsion. In the central hull there are two, 2,600 hp MTU V16s, each allowing a top speed of over 30 knots and a transatlantic range at 13 knots. For harbor maneuvers, two 160 kW electric motors with retractable propellers are fitted in the hulls and allow the boat to cross the Pacific at a speed of 8 knots if they are supplied by generators.

Sunreef Power 70

For its fifteenth 70’ since 2008, the builder is again using a formula which appeared in 2010, with a closed wheelhouse on the flybridge, in the style of the raised pilot house, which on motoryachts has allowed a very nice owner’s suite to be positioned at the forward end of the main deck. This is also the case here. This arrangement, coupled with the disappearance of the raised interior passageway, offers a quite simply huge open space on the main deck. The galley/bar, dining room, lounge area is worthy of yachts of 100’. The pleasure and comfort of a closed flybridge wheelhouse is incomparable, and the aft part is open as a balcony, to take the air.
