The 40th edition of the Tour de France a la Voile was particularly hotly disputed by the 29 trimarans at the start. It must be said that once again this year, the entrants were well-matched, and the race for victory was really fierce.

In the end, and after 17 races (8 coastal ‘raids’ and 9 nautical locations), the crew of Fondation FDJ - Des Pieds et Des Mains won (Damien Seguin - Damien Iehl - Benjamin Amiot - François Morvan). A crew which advocates mixing handicapped and able-bodied sailors (Damien Seguin was born with no left hand, and is a double Paralympic champion in the 2.4m R class).
More than just a victory, a genuine symbol!
