Garda Foiling Week – why not fly?

In addition to the traditional forums and racing, it offered visitors a ‘Trial and Experience Camp’ – the possibility of testing and sailing aboard the famous ‘flying boats’. All you had to do was register in advance to be able to choose to sail on one of the cats present (Voilavion, Whisper, S9 or iFly 15). A nice initiative to allow enthusiasts to take the step up to flying, as each ‘pilot’ is followed by a semi-rigid dinghy with a trainer/instructor aboard.
