Cannes Yachting Festival (France)

The Cannes Yachting Festival is one of the most important shows for seeing multihulls from all over the world, and once again this year, we should expect around fifty or even more cruising catamarans and trimarans presented to the public. From 35 to 90 feet, sail or motor, there will be something for all tastes.

In addition to the new boats already presented in the previous pages, (Catana 53, Lagoon 40, 50 and SEVENTY 8, Fountaine Pajot Saona 47 and MY 44, Futura 49, Ice Cat 61, Leopard 45, McConaghy MC50Cat, Rapido 60, SolarWave 64, the Sunreef Supreme 68 Power and a surprise, and the SwissCat S48), you will be able to see the whole of the Bali range, the Lagoon 42, 450F and 52F, the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, Helia 44, Saba 50 and Ipanema and MY 37, the Bavaria Catamarans/Nautitech range including the 40 in its new livery and with a new accommodation plan, the Aventura 10 Power, the Eos 54, the HH66, the Leopard 40, 43 PC and 51 PC, the O Yacht Class 4, the Outremer 51, the Oxygène Air 77, the Privilege Serie 5 and the Sunreef 74 and 62.

Annapolis Boat Show

Annapolis is one of the major meeting points for multihull enthusiasts from all over the world, and once again this year the number of multihulls present on the east coast of the USA at the beginning of October should be impressive. We begin with Balance Catamarans, which will be presenting the whole of its range, with the Balance 451, the 526 and the brand-new 760F. Lagoon will be presenting its 380, 42, 450F, and 52F, and Fountaine Pajot, the Lucia 40, Helia 44, Saona 47, Saba 50 , and the whole of the Leopard Catamarans and Bavaria Catamarans/Nautitech ranges will be present. We will also be seeing the Antares 44 and the Outremer 4X, the Bali 4.0 and 4.3, the Corsair 760 Sport, Corsair 970 and Seawind 1160 Lite, the Neel 45 and many other catamarans, such as the Maverick, St Francis, the Farrier F-22, the Gemini Freestyle 37, Legacy 35, Gunboat 60 and the superb HH55 and 66. Obviously, this list may change considerably between now and the month of October.

Barcelona, Grand Pavois, Genoa, Southampton...

Year upon year, Barcelona is becoming the other major autumn date for cruising catamarans and trimarans, along with the Cannes show. This year, the show should be presenting around thirty boats, including the Lagoon 40, 42, 450 F, 50, 52 F, the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, Saona 47, MY44, the Nautitech Open 40 and 46, Catana 53, Bali 4.0, 4.3 and 4.5, Eos 54, Flash Cat, Outremer, Neel 51, Privilège Série 6, Leopard 45 and Sunreef 74... But the Mediterranean is not the only place you can see cruising multihulls, and as in previous years, La Rochelle’s Grand Pavois should be presenting twenty or more trimarans and catamarans. Among others, then, you will be seeing the Nau concept, the Astus 16.5 and 24, the Aventura 43 and 10 Power, the Bali 4.0 and 4.3; the Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40, Helia 44, Saona 47, MY44, the Lagoon 42 and 52S, the brand new Libertist 850 trimaran, the Neel 45 and the Nautitech Open 46.

And if you like catamarans and trimarans, don’t hesitate to visit the shows at Genoa (Italy), Newport (USA), or Southampton (UK), not to mention Sydney (Australia) or Cape Town (South Africa). You will be able to see numerous multihulls there. Second-hand also has its show

Traditionally, the boat shows are reserved for new boats. But there is an atypical but very pleasant show, which deals exclusively with second-hand cruising multihulls. Organized at Canet-en-Roussillon in the south of France, at the end of September, it will allow you to choose the boat of your dreams, with which you will be able to leave immediately, from amongst the thirty or so second-hand cruising multihulls present!
