It’s now become a tradition: when Fountaine Pajot announces a new boat, they don’t give away its name, and christen it with a rather plain “New” followed by the length in feet.

And this is how we’ve known the New 47, since it was announced a few months ago. And discovering the boat at the International Multihull Show, we also discovered its name: Saona 47. A particularly attractive boat, as much in terms of layout, as under sail. Our first trip on board having been rather promising. Watch this space!
