Presented for its world preview at Cannes, this superb giant retains its elegant lines thanks to its designer’s subtle pencil strokes, but also represents a very successful synthesis of the expertise of the CNB-Lagoon hub in Bordeaux regarding luxury sailing boats. The multitude of living areas whose ergonomics and privacy have been meticulously designed, its owner’s suite with its private balcony and big dressing room, its huge, ultra-well equipped crew quarters, its huge aft watersports deck, and the quality of its semi-custom finishing classify this catamaran as the first genuine (almost) production multihull superyacht. The results of the work carried out by the designer-architect team and the builder’s execution provide excellent blend between the requirements of cruising on all the seas, and the comfort the clientele expects during their inevitably brief holiday. NEW 2017 Ocean Explorer C-78
The very successful German Frers-designed 60-footer augurs well for the quality which could come out of this more ambitious project. High performance is the aim, with a very slender rig; however a small flybridge is hidden under the coachroof extension, bringing together steering, sail handling and a sunbathing area. Carbon and titanium form part of the construction materials, and the engines are centered to optimize the trim. Four large cabins, including an owner’s suite and spacious crew’s quarters can be customized as you wish. The structure is in glass/epoxy, with carbon reinforcements, and an all-carbon version is possible.

NEW 2017 OUTREMER 7X
Originally planned as the 6X, to complete the top end of the range, the flagship of the fleet has become the 7X in answer to the demand for very fast luxury sailing boats. The ‘family spirit’ is very present on this Outremer, which will be reliable and seaworthy enough for a round the world trip. The owner has the choice of skippering his boat himself, assisted by a sailor, or delegating this responsibility to a crew led by a captain. Although the accommodation plan can of course be customized, as standard it houses all the luxury conveniences of a yacht in its 74 feet, with two double guest cabins and an owner’s suite with fold down berths for the children, as well as a crew mess with 4 berths. Although the speed of the true wind will be the minimum reached in light airs, daily averages of over 350 miles will be possible once a good breeze sets in, all in the comfort of a huge lounge-bar-dining area with a panoramic view and genuine balconies forward and aft.

NEW 2017 SUPREME 68
We can now say that there will be a before and after for this catamaran with explicitly urban looks. Francis Lapp designed this new line, which is available in a smaller size (58 and 48 feet) as well as a motor yacht version (with different underwater lines), developed as if the boat was intended for his personal use. With 300m² of living area, including a main deck and a flybridge (both 65m²), the interior can be fitted out on demand and with no constraints, as the angular volumes are similar to those of an appartment, free from any interference from the structure. Innovative technical and accommodation design processes allow the owner to have the greatest livability in the category, and to customize the decoration, assisted by the interior design studio set up by the builder. Completed by an aft deck and a huge garage, everything has been planned to appeal to the clientele for much bigger luxury yachts.

NEW 2017 MC77 CAT
The Hong Kong-based builder, a specialist in ultra-sophisticated racing boats, is preparing the ground in the market for fast, high-tech catamarans, with this new semi-custom project, which will be presented at Düsseldorf. A 50’ and a 60’ are now being built, following the Cannes Boat Show, where the Multiyacht made an impression. Four accommodation layouts are planned for the nacelle, and two for the hulls. PRIVILEGE SERIE 7
With six boats sailing since 2006, the former 745 is the best-selling production catamaran over 70’. It has become the Serie 7, with a complete revamp and interiors redesigned by Franck Darnet. Already positioned at the luxury end of the market at its creation in 1985, the company confirms its ability to create custom-finished accommodation. A Turkish bath was even fitted in one boat. The reliability of this model, which is used a lot for charter, needs no further proof. And the famous cabin in the central nacelle is a real ‘must’...

Since its launch in 2003 with the n°1 of the 74s ‘CHE’ – the first semi-custom luxury catamaran with a flybridge – no fewer than 14 boats of over 70’ have been produced in Gdansk, Poland, which shows the success encountered by the formula. The new 74’ (launched in 2014) is a real success, with six boats already in the water, the last two models being dedicated to charter. They have more panoramic vertical hull portlights, and are equipped with a real storeroom – a genuine annex to the 10m² fitted-kitchen -style galley situated on the main deck.

CATANA 70
The 70 is the 59’s big sister, with a similarly-sized panoramic cockpit-saloon module. It’s above all in the hulls that we find the extra 3.3 meters which give it a speedy look. With 6 cabins, including one for the skipper, the program is oriented towards very comfortable, fast ocean cruising. The first model had its sail area increased to 272 m² on a 30-meter mast.
