A choice which therefore condemns the oldest boats, which will no longer be in class. The idea is to become more attractive to the sponsors, and offer a more homogenous fleet in terms of performance, even if it means fewer boats on the start line. The foils chosen are one-design and C-shaped, and have been designed by a group of the architects who designed the existing boats. Construction will be taken care of by Lorima.
The class hopes to have six fast boats at the start of the next Transat Jacques Vabre.
