The tension of the shrouds and forestay on a sailing boat is vital for safety aboard, as well as for performance. However, it is often checked approximately, or even not at all. So that you can quickly measure the tension in your shrouds, Aerofleet has designed two tensiometers: one which is positioned at the anchor point of each shroud and is linked to a computer; the other, independent and portable, is capable of memorizing 200 measurements.
