Race 2 Alaska is a new kind of race, open only to boats with no engines and taking them, as the name suggests, to Alaska, at the end of a complicated 750-mile course in waters which are...cold! The winner will take home a prize of US$ 10,000, but it is not the money which motivates the adventurers who will be setting off on this ultimate race. Amongst the boats entered, we find everything from a sport cat to trimarans capable of confronting seas which can be complicated, as well as being able to sail in a breath of wind.
