Amongst the renewable energies, we find of course the wind, and Energy Observer will be equipped with a 50m² kite wing to pull the boat along. This wing is currently being developed with the help of Yves Parlier, one of the pioneers in the field.
The project is therefore taking shape, and the aim of a round the world trip in 6 years will allow the crew to validate a number of concepts which could change the way we sail in years to come.
