With the passing of the ExtremeSailingSeries over to GC32s, we could have been worried that the GC32 Racing Tour was going to suffer a little.

But with nine boats on the start line at the first regatta, which took place on Lake Garda, in Italy, ‘flying boat’ fans were reassured. Cammas and his boys won, ahead of Team Tilt, and the sight of these catamarans flying above the water was fantastic.
Note that Team Tilt was ‘flashed’ at 39.7 knots, a new record for a GC32.
