Although the silhouette doesn’t go unnoticed, and reminds us of the Dean 5000, the Xquisite really is a brand new catamaran.

The n°1 in the series was discovered at the Multihull Boat Show, and the least we can say is that it caused a sensation. It was clearly designed by sailors for sailors. All those of you who have already sailed for more than a few hours know how important storage and stowage are aboard an ocean cruiser. And on the X5, everything has been planned to allow you to carry and stow everything you will need. An excellent point. Another nice surprise is the boat’s ‘connected’ nature: you can keep an eye on your cat and control it from your iPad, and even communicate with the builder, who can also follow the boat. Finally, the X5 showed itself to be particularly attractive under sail during our test, which you will be able to read in a coming edition of Multihulls World!
