SodeboUltim and its skipper, Thomas Coville, will be setting off to tackle the singlehanded round the world record, still held by Francis Joyon.
Joyon will therefore be attempting once again to take the Jules Verne Trophy, the fully-crewed round the world record. As at the end of 2015, he will be joined in this attempt by the crew of Spindrift 2.
Records which it is a good idea to break now, as the competition is arriving fast, with Banque Populaire IX and Gitana Maxi, not to mention Macif, already in the water and whose speed potential its skipper demonstrated in the last Jacques Vabre!
