In just a few hours, the magic worked and all the participants, who didn’t know each other (or hardly) before the event, decided to launch an association. A.T.D, the Dragonfly trimarans association, was born!
Today in France there are around fifty of these trimarans, built in Denmark by Quorning Boats, and the association has become the essential link between all those on the look-out for tips, techniques, adjustments, good cruising ideas, choice of sails, etc...
Since the first edition, there has been a meeting at Pornic in 2014, then one at La Trinité sur Mer in 2015.
The next meeting will take place at Pornic during Whitsun weekend, and the ATD is also organizing a rally reserved for two-up crews at the end of August.
Finally, there is a strong hint of an international meeting in 2017 or 2018...
