The aim is to offer a comfortable and luxurious catamaran of course, but one which is also (very) fast, as the architect assures us that the Icecat 61 will be capable of top speeds of over 25 knots. The high-performance hulls should allow the boat to sail to windward at 30° to the wind, and the draft of just 1 meter with the daggerboards raised will allow access to the remotest anchorages.
The Icecat 61 (18.60 m long – 8.20 m beam) can also be built in carbon for more demanding owners and those looking for ultimate performance.
The number 1 in the series is currently being built.
