We now know a little more about the schedule for the coming season of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series.

We should be seeing six teams racing in six new legs, which will take place in:
Muscat, Oman, 26th – 28th February 2016
New York, USA, 6th – 8th May 2016;
Chicago, USA, 10th – 12th June 2016;
Portsmouth, UK, 22nd – 24th July 2016;
and in France, at Toulon, from 9th to 11th September 2016.
The final leg should be taking place in Asia, at the end of the year.
The races will be held on the AC 45s, whilst all the design teams are working flat out on the boats (AC 50s) which will be racing in the final, in Bermuda in May and June.
