You all know now that the International Multihull Boat Show is the event which the whole world envies. A unique boat show, which each year allows multihull lovers to meet up again ‘as a family’.
The seventh edition is now on track, and we will be meeting up again this year in La Grande Motte, just a few cables from Montpellier international airport in the South of France, from 13th to 17th April 2016, to celebrate sailing and motor catamarans and trimarans.

La Grande Motte 2016 – the latest edition evolves
It is often said that 7 years is the age of reason... Yet daring to launch the concept of a boat show uniquely reserved for multihulls was not really reasonable. However... Last year, 48% of the visitors came from abroad, to find the boat of their dreams. It must be said that La Grande Motte is certainly the only spot in the world where you can see more than sixty cruising multihulls in the same place.
It is still too early to have an exact list of the builders who will be present, but here is what we can already tell you, as a preview:
At the 2016 Show you will be able to see numerous new boats, including the new 40-foot catamaran from Fountaine Pajot, the Lagoon 42, the Bali 4.0 and the Nautitech Open 46, which will be presented to the public for the first time, afloat. But that’s not all, as Xquisite Yachts hopes to be able to present the X5 for its European premiere. Leopard will be there in force, with a large part of its range, as will Outremer, Catana and Bali, who are close neighbors of the show.
Other new boats are expected, but it is still too early to announce them officially. We can already tell you that some South African and Italian builders will be amongst the ranks, and that several one-off catamarans could also make the trip.
We can therefore now hope that the record for boats presented will be beaten and that the festival will be a good one...
