For the first time since its creation in 1961, the Little Cup will be raced in fresh water, not at sea.

The nine crews currently entered will be doing battle in Geneva, from 12th to 20th September, to try and win this competition, which is always hard-fought.
This regatta, usually called the Little America’s Cup, is both a human and a technological challenge. It is raced on catamarans 7.62m long and 4.26 in beam, whose sail area cannot exceed 27.8m². A rule which appears simple, but which causes the engineers to rack their brains to create the ultimate machine... The proof – C Class boats have been sailing on foils and using wing masts for over thirty years!
Franck Cammas will of course be there to try and keep his title, which won’t be easy given the competition, which promises to be of a very high level.
