But the builder has just delivered a rather special order: a 42-meter carbon mast for the trimaran ‘Spindrift’. Although the skill of the CDK teams in composites is well-known, it was the acquisition of a 50-meter autoclave pressure tank – one of the biggest in Europe – which allowed the company to meet this out-of-the-ordinary request for a boat which is no less so. It nevertheless took 10 months’ work to create the mast for this giant trimaran, which will thus be ready to confront the oceans with even more power. The records had better watch out!
