The class rule allowing the multihulls to face up to a round the world race via the three Capes, singlehanded, has just been announced. The catamarans must be a minimum of 24 and a maximum of 32 meters long, with a maximum beam of 23 meters. The air draft cannot be greater than 120% of the greatest hull length, and the bridgedeck height must be greater than 1.70 meters for the Ultims launched after 1st January 2015 (1.40 meters for those already in the water).
