Once again this year there were many hoping to win, and the competition between the multihulls was really intense. But finally logic was respected, as the MOD 70 Paprec - Team Concise (nicknamed the ‘entente cordiale’ as it had a Franco-British crew) won ahead of a hoard of wild GC 32s, in perfect conditions for flying above the waves. Sultanate of Oman, Alinghi, Engie and Argo finally finished in that order, and demonstrated that these flying catamarans can easily race at sea.
