Although certain people swear by carbon, today there is an attractive alternative with glass fiber steering wheels. These are manufactured in one single piece with no glued joints, thus offering incomparable strength. The anodised aluminum hub is directly integrated into the mold. The result is an aesthetically-pleasing wheel, which weighs just 20% more than a carbon one, but at a knock-out price. As an example, a 900 mm diameter steering wheel costs 1462 euros, inc. VAT.
