The new generation WindRider Rave trimarans

The builder is now putting the final touches to the new version of this flying trimaran, the Rave V. The idea is still to have an easily transportable trimaran which requires no special infrastructure to launch or assemble it. But the best thing about the Rave V is that it should fly with a minimum amount of wind, but remain pleasant to sail if the wind doesn’t allow the foils to get the boat flying. In addition to its foils, it’s of course the rig that has us wondering, with its bipod mast with the mastfeet fitted to the floats.
