To date, information is only filtering through in dribs and drabs, but here is what we can already announce almost officially:
- a brand-new 55-footer catamaran is currently being designed. The catamaran builder will be keeping the excellent hulls and will be working on a brand new, more modern coachroof, allowing it to offer more refined lines whilst retaining the superb interior volume. With the same idea in mind, the builder will be also revising the cockpit, to offer better fluidity and easier movement, whilst retaining the safety offered by the enclosed cockpit... This version, to be called Evolution, will also be equipped as standard with the dinghy lifting system first seen on the 45...
- But the major news is the announcement of a brand-new boat, the Swiss S2C 65 catamaran. A catamaran which picks up the philosophy of the 55 – very fast hull, deck plan designed for shorthanded sailing in all weathers, and of course top of the range interior comfort and finishing. Here is the first sketch of this new catamaran, (the bimini’s proportions are distorted here), whose definitive design will be presented at the La Grande Motte boat show...
