The Balance 451: Conceived in the United States by Phil Berman of the Multihull Company, designed in New Zealand by Roger Hill and built in China by Startown Marine Ltd, the Balance 451 is a real symbol of the 21st century: a global effort.
What could be more normal, when you see that Balance Catamarans’ objective is to build a true cruising boat which corresponds to everyone’s needs and which is as comfortable at anchor as it is when long-distance sailing. And to achieve this, a boat must be capable of taking you quickly to shelter, be capable of making good upwind progress and/or sailing in challenging conditions.
Among the criteria for the Balance 451, it had to be able to be handled by a family crew or even single-handed, as well as be easy to maintain.
Check it out at Miamarina, Bayside - C17
