Solar energy works. The proof, with the PlanetSolar catamaran, which, after being the first boat to sail round the world using just solar energy, has just finished its 2014 campaign – a 9000km tour round Europe, between Boulogne-sur-Mer and Venice.

The high point of this campaign was the ‘Terra Submersa’ scientific expedition, organized by Geneva University, with the aim of exploring the prehistoric landscapes swallowed up by the waters of Kiladha Bay, in Greece. The proof, if proof were necessary, that PlanetSolar is a real communications tool, as well as an excellent platform for living aboard.
