The Italian builder Comar, whose monohulls are particularly well-known, is launching into catamarans (see our 2015 Buyer's Guide of Multihulls World) with the Comet Cat 37, which will be at the 2015 Multihull Boat Show.

In the range, the builder had then planned to bring out a
67-footer catamaran. But faced with the significant demand for fast ocean cruising
boats of a reasonable size, it asked the Studio Tecnico of Comar to
design a 50-footer catamaran, of which this is the first sketch. The lines are
just as beautiful and sporty, and it should be fast, with a light
displacement of less than 10 tonnes and over 140m² of sail...
