Solar One Monte Carlo Cup

Three days of festivities brought together 25 crews from international universities, essentially from the north of Europe and the United States. These little craft, full of technology, thought up and designed by young engineers, met for fleet races, slaloms and challenges, under the curious gaze of people walking by.

As for the results, let's pay tribute to the Dutch double, with two crews which won in the Open Class (the most innovative, with just one restriction, the length, limited to 8 meters) and in the A Class (6 meter maximum length and 4 solar panels). The Russians from Team Beluga Powered by Synergy, won the V20 event (designed to plane on foils), whilst the Monegasques, the only crew from the Mediterranean basin to enter, took third place, with their boat Nakhimov Racing.
