Here is a newcomer from Europ Yachting, which should be built by the Mint Yachts yard at Tarifa, in Spain. The Coast 50 was designed by the architect Philippe Renaudeau for a programme of ocean cruising as a couple. Equipped with pivoting centreboards, the catamaran will allow access to shallow, deserted anchorages, while offering a ‘fuse’ system, which allows the boards to pivot in the case of an impact from an unidentified floating object.
